I love his dressings. And that he had a long-term marriage against all the Hollywood odds.
Great actor but also seemed like a very decent and caring human being. |

totally. a 50+ year marriage and gave millions to charity. And, it must be said, really really good looking. |

| It was really strange yesterday. I was cleaning some dvds when I took The Sting film and thought to myself: Paul Newman is really ill. It wouldn't be weird if one day they say he has passed away. 10 minutes later news said he was dead :O |

I only just heard this in the news - have been in my old flat in Glasgow all weekend with no internet or tv - very sad. Absolute screen icon and legend.
What are everyone's favourite Paul Newman Films? I'm going to have to take Butch & Sundance. That's just perfect joy of a film to watch. In fact I may put it on tonight
