Nikki Posted Fri 26 Sep, 2008 8:24 PM |
I painted a picture about a year ago and posted it on the board. I called it "Why Does It Always Rain On Me."
I just finished my second painting. I was inspired by the story of "J. Smith." I thought I'd take the guy in the shadows from the first painting and use him in the second one as well, this time away from the city and walking through an archway with a cross to represent his assent to heaven.
It's only my second attempt at painting...so be nice, lol! :) Hope you like.

Wow. Well done Nikki. :) Get doing some more for us... ;)
I've attempted most 'art' in my time. Stories, poems, drawing, painting, song writing, film making. They all turned out totally awful. |

Second attempt at painting? Like, ever? I've been doing watercolour painting for years and I can't paint half that well.
Now I feel depressed, lol. |

Wow Nikki, those are both great! They have a sort of rough quality to them which makes them very likable and it must be cool to be able to hang your own pictures up on your wall :D I can't draw or paint to save my life, so I'm always impressed by people who can! |

And Ben, that's not true cuz I've read a few of your poems on here and they were far from awful. |

Haha this just made me laugh because of the WOW fit so perfectly with your eye picture to the left.
But I agree also. Great painting Nikki and the tree is my favorite! |
