You asked, you get! Do you hear:
1. Never
2. Mothers
Do you think Fran actually sings:
1. Never
2. Mothers

<--- Hears never, sings never, thinks it could be mothers.
Orrrr...could be an ode to some chick named Heather. |

This is priceless!
I definitely hear 'never' (I've always assumed it was), but it I think it COULD be 'mothers' (again, since official sources have stated it the lyric to be 'mothers')
Such a serious matter, I must say! ; ] |

Good idea to start a showdown for this!
I still vote for "never"

I was sure it was "never" for a long time, but then after reading Fran's comment about the song (someone mentioned it in the other) i think "mothers" makes more sense.. Even though i still hear "never"! :) |

Cheers, cryptic name! :-)
I'm quite determined to think that it's "mothers". However, listening to the song, I must say it sounds more like "never", or some kind of weird mixture. On the palace DVD version, it sounds like "nada" or something. |

I hear: I'm not English so what I hear doesn't count
I think Fran says Mothers (but I'm not sure that's why I asked the question in the other thread) |
