Attention American boardies (specifically the ones in Los Angeles, San Fran, NY, Miami, DC, Chi-Town, Dallas, and Denver) There's this festival happening on April 20th in eight cities. It's suppose to raise awareness for earth day. They are hosting eight free concerts in each city. I looked at each line-up and it looks like it doesn't get any better then the DC one (The Roots, Umphrey's McGee, and Thievery Corporation)

Dallas has Los Lonely Boys. I must go add their "How Far is Heaven" song to the thread about popular songs that I hate.

I HATE THAT SONG!

Like Nickelback level of hatred.

Yeah. I don't think I'll be attending.

Actually, on the 4th of July one year, I went to this huge concert thing in Ft.Worth (Billy Bob's) and I saw Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan, and many more. Yeah. the Los Lonely Boys were there. There was one stage, so we had to see them and all the other little bands.

I like that you say "so we had to see them"

So far it sounds like the DC might be the only decent one. Yeah for Lauren, too bad so sad for the rest of us.

We did--well, no. we didn't have to see them, we had to hear 'em. It was really hot, so we went back to the car for some A/C but we could still hear 'em from the car. Willie and Dylan were GREAT though. totally worth it!
