I tried searching for the thread about this but no luck.

I am really excited that there are pretty reliable sources saying a deal is very close to being reached and that they've sorted out the stickiest points.

I'm happy the Oscars will go on. I really want to see Glen and Mar perform. And I'm happy the TV season might not be a total bust.

I'd quite happily Strike some Writers.

Lost, 24, Star Wars 1-3, Any and I do mean any Soap Operas, Sopranos Seasons 3,4,5 and the first half of season 6

Sorry, two separate things. The writer's strike, if not resolved, means the Oscars will basically not happen as no actors will cross the picket line. So the show could end up being as lame as the Golden Globe "press conference" announcing the winners.

And the writer's strike means almost all of the shows have run all of their episodes and are in repeats or we are getting the worst reality shows ever. Lost is an exception since they just started airing it last week.

i'm sure some ghost writing is being done , reality shows are cheap for networks so thats why they're flooding the networks

There's still a few House's left (it just started back up last week), and Brother's & Sisters hasn't been on in three weeks, but I know there's two eps left before they run out. :D

I wonder if they're going? I sure hope they win but I am so jaded about award shows.

I KNOW. I would send negative energy out into the world but I don't want it to interfere with Glen's mojo by accident.
