Okay - here a thinker for you - why do you choose the picture you do for your icon - some choose thier faces, some pictures of Travis, some cartoons, and some other stuff.
I chose my snuggling penguins cos a) i took it and i'm proud of it b) it's cute but not overly so and c) I'm always holding the camera so there aren't any decent ones of me.

People change their avatars as often as their underwear around here. That made it a little difficult to remember who everyone was at first.
I chose my turtle with the heart because the one with the screaming turtle scared certain people. I tried to find something as happy and non-threatening as possible. |

me, i change my avatar according to what i'm into at the moment. i like watching anime, so my recent avatars have been anime characters. someone told me that i reminded them of the character in my avatar (ichigo of "bleach") because i love to eat toast :-D
other times, it's violinist colm mac con iomaire of the frames. |
