| Yes, alone... again. But I did have plans, but an hour ago my "friend" called me saying so-and-so called her crying so she's going to have to rain check, and we'll get coffee on Sunday. What if I have plans for Sunday already (I don't but that's neither here nor there)? I hate flaky people with a passion, and sadly this word can be used to describe my friends. All of 'em. |

Our flight leaves Sunday. I've got to rememberto go to Vintage Stock tomorrow and look for some posters to decorate my room with. Anyone got a spare TRAVIS poster?
I'm now enjoying a cup of hot cocoa with two large marshmallows |

Sunday as in tomorrow? Or next sunday...is today Saturday...I'm so confused about what day of the week it is. Try ebay if that Poster store is no good...that's where I found mine. And you could always make your own, but that would probably be a bitch.

Oh my, the old "friend needs my help" excuse. If I had a dollar for every time i heard that one or used it myself even ;) I feel ya on the flaky shit, it's at least one of my top 3 pet peeves. But no need to dwell, you're about to start a big adventure :) Have fun decorating! |

I had a hot chocolate tragedy last night. I was making some and the box suggested adding peppermint extract to it. I love peppermint hot chocolate (at least the kind I've had at Starbucks) and I actually had peppermint extract so I went for it.
Folks, let me warn you that 1/8 teaspoon is still TOO MUCH. I gagged and almost brushed my teeth it was so strong.
I started over but the whole warm fuzzy moment was ruined.
I am making Snickerdoodles and am putting off doing some finances. Hold back your jealous comments please.
Though later I shall watch the first ep of "Long Way Down" starring my boyfriend Ewan McGregor. |

Flaky friends are annoying. I would be annoyed since this is your next to last Saturday in Kansas. I remember this being more of a problem when I was younger so that is one thing to look forward to. In general I find my friends to be much less flaky.
Or perhaps it is easier to drop the flakes as you get older. : ) |

Haha been there. My mom actually bought me a bottle of special peppermint syrup for x-mas to put in hot chocolate and such.

No, not jealous at all. We still have 3 dozen Snickerdoodles left over from our bake off extravaganza last week.
Lindsey: I'll gladly send you some of my marshmallows. My parents scolded me for buying the large kind instead of the mini ones for hot chocolate
