my 16 year old sister is lecturing me on backstabbing friends...because horror of all horrors her best friend has a crush on my sister's ex-boyfriend!...this is the second time in a 24 hour period i've had to here about it...clearly her friend hasn't learned the ol' "bro's before ho's!" rule! haha

Funny you should mention this because yesterday I got my hair cut and while getting shampooed the woman next to me was talking about burning her eye ball with a curling iron. OUCH!!!!!!!!!

life lessons learned #14:

After you handle a jalepeno, do not touch your eyes. It will hurt, and you will be sorry.

life lessons suck.
just when you think you're doing okay and you understand a bit more about people and the world all of a sudden you have to go and relearn a whole set of other rules...

however...they are kinda important i suppose.

i'm so over my sister and her supposed teenage angst....i was a miserable teen too but she's got it better than i did at her age and still she's always bitching and moaning about something.

ahhh yes. the awkward teenage years. Only a few more months of being a teenager for me. But, I like to think that I outgrew the drama quite a few years ago. It's funny how some things seem so important to you when you are that age.
