The whole of Football Focus today is dedicate to the Hillsborough disaster which happened 20 years ago.

I'm not too sure how I feel about this, they hardly mention that disasters had happened twice before, on the 2nd of January 1971 66 people died in Ibrox, Glasgow, yet this is never mentioned, why?? On the 29th of May 1985 Liverpool fans charged Juventus fans in the Heysel Stadium in Belgium the juventus fans retreaed causing a wall to collapse, 39 died.

This has also happened constantly in Africa. Article

Nor do we hear constantly about the Bradford City Fire on the 11th May 1985, in which 56 people died just days before Heysel.

I'm guessing a lot clubs have their own personal tragedies, why don't we hear about all of them ??

I agree, I was talking about the Bradford fire whilst watching the Liverpool match earlier....funny how easily people forget.

Its like some murders go unreported and others reach every headline and yet all are tragic.

Curious.
