I can't believe it!!!!!!
I haven't listened to it yet, I haven't even opened it. I've been staring at it since I got it!!!
For those reading this thread who don't know the story, Ode hasn't been released in Argentina yet, despite the fact that it was supposed to come out here on nov. 4th.
Anne, seeing my frustration and dissappointment on a post I made about it that day, bought a copy and sent it to me before I could say no! She's totally crazy, and my hero.
Anyway, it arrived today!!! My brother saw the package lying there on the entrance floor and didn't tell me anything because he wanted me to find it. So I was going down the stairs and saw it!!!
I've been shaking since I found it and I'm so nervous!!! My heart is beating fast and I'm not joking, lol!
I'm about to hear it for the first time, just the way I wanted: my very own copy, alone in my room.
Now that I've been building up my hopes since february I really hope I'll like it! Lol!
I'll make sure I follow all the "first listen advices" some of you have given me! :oD

And thanks a lot to everyone who's had to put up with me talking about this for the past month and a half or more, you're all so kind and tolerant! :oP

I've just heard it twice. I... don't know what to say! I haven't processed it yet. But it's amazing. It's more than amazing. Mind blowing, overwhelmig. Waiting for this was totally worth it. I nearly cried. I'm so glad I waited!!!
It never ceases to amaze me how talented Travis are. And on this album they have excelled themselves as musicians.
The quality of the sound is impecable and the songs are brilliant. No favourites yet, I'm too excited with all of it to choose just a few songs hehe.
I'm in love with this album. Anne, now I totally understand why you wanted to find a way to make out with it!!!!
