I watched something last night that blew my mind. I think it was on Discovery Health...(either Medical Mysteries or Mystery Diagnosis or something like that) about a Moroccan woman who got pregnant in the 1950s and never had her baby. It died inside her and she just let it stay there until 45 years later when she complained of abdominal pain doctors discovered the baby still inside of her...in a tumor, completely calcified into what they called a "rock baby" ...omg. It was so disturbing, yet fascinating that she was able to live all that time with it inside her! |

I SAW THAT ONE! I'm a sucker for horrifying medical documentaries on Discover Health.
I don't remember if this was in the same show, but I saw one about this kid:

Yes! I saw that one too!!! Ok...glad I'm not the only one who likes watching those freaky shows!
Did you see the couple who thought they were having twins but discovered after she was pretty well into her pregnancy that they were having triplets. Only the third baby grew in her fallopian tube, which burst when the baby got too big and the placenta attached itself to her organs in her abdominal cavity and somehow all three babies and the mum survived. It was crazy! |
