sometimes i say 'woot woot' out loud...but for the most part it's an online thing. haha |

In Danish, we use the, er, word SMS for mobile texts. Since this feature on the phone is used extensively, especially by certain age groups, the original abbreviation has taken on its own life, a bit like 'CCing'. SMS can have all sorts of flexives attached to it and it's really used like a noun/verb in its own right. |

Btw I havent been smessin you, cos your number wasnt saved on my old mobile. Yups I finally got a new one. Just need to retrieve some numbers from the museum piece;0) |

I think woot sounds pretty awkward outloud. Or at least it doesn't sound like a happy word with a lot of emotion. It is very blunt. |
