Indiana Jones' hat never fell off his head except in situations where it was meant to come off as part of the film (e.g. when he grabs it from under the closing door). This was supposed to add to the comic book 'feel' of the movie. To achieve this they tried various techniques like gaffa taping the hat to harrison fords head. In the end they had to staple it in place for windy scene's, such as riding a horse.
There's some good hat trivia for you. |

Oh the story of my life...
Have you guys heard about this kid (12 years old) in Florida who killed 17 months old girl with a baseball bat because she was crying too loudly?
World seems to be a scary place to live today... :/

I agree with that, but on the flipside, the person in question probably wasn't thinking "I'd better hand this hat over or I will get stabbed in the heart".
I'd be the same. I'd be all "No way are you getting my fucking hat!". Although I probably wouldn't be wearing one, since it would mess with my hair.
So in conclusion, don't stab people over hats.
ok to stab ppl over something else then ?
i'd love a Birkin in crocodile (Hermes bag) in colour lapis lazuli... |

now back in my day (remember i'm old)in the days before knives were even thought of (gwawf) these things happened but weren't reported. Is life worse now? Probably but the media hype that surrounds everything heightens fear and makes the situation worse. Statisically speaking (and i know you can prove anything with statisics) life isn't that much worse now we just know abut it more.
Having said that - a 12 year old with a baseball bat killing a 17 month old makes me want to be violent - what hope has he for a life after this (re Jamie Bulger) WHat makes these kids do this sort of stuff. it's sick and sickening. |

I hear there's a guy in Copenhagen who will gladly stab you in exchange for a hat.
EDIT: And the post has come full circle. |
