I have a hard time picturing you as a hard rock fan. Please give more details for my amusement.

I still have all my tapes, too. Too expensive to upgrade. I prefer them to CD's, actually. Don't have to worry about scratches and dust.

Great thread Kayte. I was thinking of starting a thread like this too!

The first thing I remember using my own money to buy was this tape. (we're totally dating ourselves by the whole album/tape/CD thing)

At least no one had admitted to buying an 8-track yet.

How many rubber bracelets did you own? I am proud to say I owned NONE, but a girl at my school who was a Madonna Wannabe had them all the way up her arm. You remember how to interlock two of them for a fancier look?

Of course! My car has a tape player, so it's either tapes or radio. I only have a few CD's...Simon and Garfunkel collection, Great Big Sea and now Travis. That's it!

No, she regained her own identity somewhere around 1988.
