This morning I got a call from my boyfriend, Mike, telling me someone had left a kitten on his door step in a cardboard box. At first I didn't even believe him because it just sounded too good to be true, but when I walked into his house after work this is what I saw...
:D !!! Mike named her (we think it's a her) Copernicus, after the Polish astronomer. LOL! It's a mouthful, so I just call her Coper for short. :P
We let her sleep for a while, because she was running around all day like a spaz.
But I just couldn't resist the urge to pet her...so I did...and she woke up!
Hello!
I love her spot.
We gave her some milk...I hope that's ok. I don't want her to get sick. We went out and bought some kitten food as well. I'm not sure how old she is or anything. We've never cared for a kitten so young before. If anyone has any tips on what to feed her, etc., please let me know! Thanks! :)

:P Hush. I like my peace bracelet. I got it up North in Mackinaw City. We're gonna take her to see a vet tomorrow I think.

Nope. Mackinaw City is located at the very tip of the lower peninsula of Michigan near the Mackinac Bridge to the UP. It's a really popular vacation spot and you can take a ferry ride to Mackinac Island. It's beautiful there...really old fashioned with lots of shops and old forts and no motor vehicles are allowed, only bikes and horse-drawn carriages. And lots of fudge! (my favorite part). :) |

| awww, what an adorable kitten! The vet will probably tell you to not give her milk...it gives them diarrhea...it looks old enough to have kitten food and water. what a fun surprise! Beware...they have loads of energy. :) |

SHe looks about 6/7 weeks old and very adorable. SHe should manage on kitten food and water easily, no milk it doesn't agree with their tummies. Watch out for her ears in the sun - sun block needed.
Fancy someone dumping her! How horrid - but at least you've got a nice surprise!
