Dave Chappelle's Block Party - I'm not usually big on Hip Hop, but I really really, like this movie.
Sleep Carefully, Drive Well - Death Cab for Cutie
WORSE:
9 Songs - Please no one see this movie. Just... don't.
Anyone care to share?

The Last Waltz - Obviously...
This is Spinal Tap - Cause their amps go up to 11 which is one more than ten.
Glastonbury by Simon Temple - A look at the festival down the years with some kick ass music too.

Uhhh, I don't really consider Control a concert movie. But it's still awesome.
I mean films that feature the actual band.

Do Travis' "More Than Us" & "Live at Alexandra Palace" DVDs count? If so, they are my absolute favorites!!!!
Movie wise, I'll go with "Almost Famous." |

being a sentimental old Beatles fan, I love the "Concert for George" DVD. And as a lovely partner piece, the "Concert for Bangladesh".
What about DIG! for a movie?
Worst? High School Musical.
Also, I'm in for the obvious, Last Waltz, This is Spinal Tap, etc. |

I'll second that! I'm hoping they will come over here and do some shows. Would love to see them live.
EDIT: Scratch that...they are coming here. YES! |

That's a movie.
I mean a film that features an actual band as themselves playing.
I think Spinal Tap, counts because those guys played shows and kept their personas outside the movie.
Almost Famous, even though the actors were playing and singing, they just did it for the film. I don't consider Almost Famous a rockumentary. |
