Depends on your mood actually. Football Factory would probably be fitting to any mood I guess.
Then I'd go with; Brazil and A Scanner Darkly. Both are very quality. Oh and House of Flying Daggers is a heaven of photography. Even in mute, the images are breathtaking.
It was a bit predictable, acting in places was a little wooden but a good film, also as you said I did allow myself a wry smile at the end.
Oh and watched 300 & House of Flying Daggers last night, 300 was not bad but boring after a bit could have been about 30mins shorter. HoFD was stunning visually but again very drawn out.
