Hi Haz!
I've heard Ode to J. Smith. My first thought was "whoah"

They definitely went there with the over the top gothic choir thing.

Though I like it it's not a song that touches my sappy heart like some of their other songs.

I will listen to it and enjoy it when I'm listening to the album straight through but probably not a song I will go to on my iPod just because I need to hear it so bag.

Though of course when I first heard it I was doing that because it totally bowled me over with its originality and Travis...but not sound.

thanks for your opinion citizen, duly noted.
a gothic choir is involved eh? hmmm, i just hope they haven't gone all "proggy" on us as i don't think andy has the stamina for the 90 minute solos.

Ew. No I don't think you need to worry about that. Others who went to the shows say that that isn't necessarily the best representation of the rest of the album. And they didn't have a choir for the live shows.

Overall I've heard the tracks are a lot rockier.

Allo Mr. Potter!
where've you been?

Have you not heard J.Smith yet? I don't think the other songs (song? it may just be one other-can't remember) have been released yet, but I'm loving J.Smith.

where've i been...well, since you asked...

Oh, I've been to Niece and the Isle of Greece while I've sipped champagne on a yacht
I've moved like Harlow in Monte Carlo and showed 'em what I've got
I've been undressed by kings and I've seen some things that an 40 year old Irish man ain't supposed to see
I've been to paradise, but I've never been to me.

nope not heard the song yet. if it's an ep it better be more than 2 feckin' songs otherwise ep would stand for 'extended price' ahahaaaahahahaha. ahh.

i'm just saying now that the way those song tiles are listed that listing could be construed as being an extremely pervy command given to poor J.Smith and Sarah.

ouch.
