I Came in Through the Bathroom Window Posted Tue 10 Jun, 2008 7:40 AM |
I'm so pathetic.
Nearly an hour ago I heard a noise downstairs. Like a door shutting. It's 3.30 am and only my mum (who's sleeping) and I are at home. Dickens (our dog) barked a little bit but he's quiet now.
I'm all alone here in my room and I'm afraid to go downstairs and check because it's all so dark! My house is quite big...
Anyway, I put on some music but I'm still paranoid.
I'm doing a paper but I can't concentrate because I'm a coward.
Is anyone around? |

I'm around! I'm sure it's only your imagination playing tricks on you! What music did you put on?
At least you didn't react how I did when I was home alone during a powercut and mistook my budgies shuffling around for something more sinister lol- I wandered downstairs to try and scare off whatever I thought it was using a replica sword from Lord of the Rings and an archery set haha. What a sight that must have been lol. |

Travis. I need something reassuring :oP
Lol! You're very brave!
I should talk out loud about my judo habilities. Maybe the fictional intruder will feel intimidated?

My paper's about different interpretations of the genocide in Argentina in the context of the last military dictatorship (1976-1983). |

To be honest, I have no idea. There's no way I'm leaving my room until the sun comes out haha. But I'm sure no one came in, otherwise I'd have heard more noises and my mum would have woken up... Although that's not a good argument. A few years ago, around 10 armed cops came in the house in the middle of the night and she didn't even notice it :oP. |

I did. I saw them as I came in through the dining room window. |
