Looks like im too old for this cookie business anyway, judging by the replies.

Hey now...Kayte (aka Turtleneck) is one of our most mature boardies. She was only joking. Oh, and you're never too old for cookies.

I can understand your concern, but I think we'll be fine. :) Thanks.

I wouldn't write that as Kayte is "one of our most mature boardies " . Sounds wrong . More like , Kayte is a reliable straight up no nonsense boardies

seriously though, this whole 'dont give your address to strangers' thing cant be said enough. one lass a few years ago posted her whole address on the board just for the hell of it [and yes, it really was her real home address not a fake]. There are some thick people out there, believe me.

I understand your point.
Never too old for cookies.

Is the "z" pronounced or is it silent?

actually it varies , Texans tend to do it silent but draw it out and they invented it so I do it like them

But to people we met on the internet! :oP

Lucile!!!!!!!!!! After going to the other end of the city and waiting a bit more than two hours, I got my cookies! :oD
I was determined to make a complaint about the system (why the heck didn't they deliver it to my house and why do I have to wait for two hours -more than 100 people queueing before me- to get my package when it's them who are not fulfilling their obligations???). BUT Seeing that package made me forget about everything!
You should have seen me talking with the customs officer:

Man: What's in the package?
Juli: Cookies! :oD
Man: What??? o.O
Juli: Cookies! :oD :oD

I almost skiped the last control because I was too happy xD.

I didn't have time to try them yet. I think I'll have to wait until tomorrow because it's 9.30 pm.
But everything looks delicious!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Hugs*

While I see Joanna's point I do more feel like many of you are virtual pen pals so I feel comfortable giving out my address to certain people under certain circumstances.

I do agree that it's unwise to publicly post it and when I've seen even on here people putting up their email addresses I think they are forgetting it's still a public board.

I posted the pics of my kids with the box then realized that you very clearly could see Wendy's and my own address in the pic so I cropped them. That would have been bad!!

About the pizza trick, an international phone number *may* clue in the company that it is a prank.

Yeah, when I sent you the package, and also when Cel send you the other packages didn't happen that, right? What happened now? Why did you have to suffer like that? Well, the good thing is that you really got rewarded :oP.
