I think digestives are sold only in the baby food aisle now in the US. But they aren't chocolate, they're more like a graham cracker. |

There used to be a comercial here a few years ago with two kids. The older kid tought the small one how to eat them: he first sepparated the two cookies, ate the cream in the middle, then joined the two cookies again and dipped the Oreo in milk. The little kid had a non-spill baby cup, so he couldn't dip the cookie.

It's like they said in Pulp Fiction. They have the same stuff over there as they have over here. It's just that everything is a little bit different.
Like when my mom lived in Germany. They had the equivalent of Downy fabric softener over there, but it was yellow instead of blue and had a different girl on the front and a different name, but it was so obviously Downy.
In Japan they have Pringles, but they are something else...Chip Stars, I think.
They have Gator Aid, but they call it Pokari Sweat (something like that--they thought that Gator was gross, but sweat was okay. That was the explanation we got.)
It's the same thing, only different. |

I have to point out how humorous I find the name "Chocolate Digestive." It's not particularly catchy. Really anything with "digestive" in its name doesn't sound like something I'll eat unless I am having tummy troubles.
Yeah, maybe not the best name in the world, but then that's what digestive biscuits were originally made to do - cure tummy troubles. And they taste good so who cares. :P
Coca Cola was originally created as a cough medicine. Fortunately, they didn't call it that or we'd all be drinking 'Coca Cough Cure' or summit. |

| I live in the Uk. We have been able to get oreos over here for years. Its just they have only just been introduced properly. First tried them in the US 8 years ago and been buying them here since. I love them with or without milk! |

Yeah, they're more spongey than biscuity. And I don't think what you call cookies are what I would call cookies.
Orange biscuits sound pretty nasty, but I don't like orange flavour much, so that could explain it :) |
