I know what you mean. What I think happens is that tragic things are always happening (usually on a smaller scale) and we're sad but we go about our days.
Then something big happens and we get more upset because the tragedy is on a bigger scale. Then when the smaller tragedies that are occurring more regularly (there are deadly storms somewhere in the world pretty often) happen it feels worse because we're already upset and it feels like more is suddenly happening.
It's not necessarily that more is happening- you're just more aware of it. |

I think your right..but then it annoys me that it wasn't publicised before..i also feel sorry for like the journalists that go to places which are at war etc and are killed there..(going off the point a bit but hey)

it feels as if nature and the world is trying to do anything to stop the olympics from happening..not that it will work..but you had the issue with Tibet, Darfur Sudan..then the pollution and now the earthquake..man a lot of things keep happening as we get closer and closer to the start of the olympics..
If only Toronto got the olympics instead of China:( |

God is pissed with Asia. Boxing Day tsunami, Burma, and now Sichuan. |
