Do people today, take themselves much to seriously?
Some people seem so concerned with material things, and they loose sight of the important things in life, like caring and sharing or just trying to be happy.
I think some people have forgotten how to laugh and play.
Thats quite sad.

i think people do..i mean like with poverty, there are two types..relative and absolute poverty..and absolute is the people in africa starving and dying..then you have people in MEDCs who have quite a bit of money, but compared to everyone else, they don't feel like they have much..so they feel poor..i blame society.
Wow, this is deep! I think many people are taking themselves too seriously (including me) because they are extremely focused on their goals to be successful. I remember that someone once said that “in this life we can only choose to be either happy or successful”, which I totally disagree. We can be both, depending on our definition of those two things.
For me, it’s all about thinking positive and focusing on joyful things around us… coz there are lots of them going around… (Esp. lately for me)
