Thanks for all the birthday wishes, everyone! So far, I helped out with the spring cleaning at church this morning and they had a luncheon after (they sang Happy Birthday to me, very embarrassing) and I came home and made myself a birthday cake which is still in the oven. Triple chocolate bundt cake! Mmmmmm. (Always reminds me of My Big Fat Greek Wedding--bundt, BUNDT!) Tonight my mom is babysitting and we're going out to eat and to hear amateur folk music. No no, it's cool! Really, it is!
I was thinking I might like to have an iPod. Well, guess what my husband found on the sidewalk in front of our house this morning. An iPod! The snow plows come by and since we live on a corner, we get mounds and mounds of snow dumped on our property. When the snow melts there is usually lots of detritus, garbage, and the occasional toy or something. This year, the snow plow gods brought us an iPod. I wonder if it will work? I'm usually pretty good at drying out electronics and reassembling them. There is only a tiny moisture dot on the screen. I don't have a charger, though. Hmmm. Maybe I can borrow one to see if it will work. It's a little scratched, but not dented. Worth a try.

That is so awesome that you found an iPod!! I really hope it works. That would be incredible if you just had to buy a charger.
I wish someone else was making your cake for you because that just doesn't seem like something the birthday girl should be doing for herself. But I am sure it will taste delicious. |
