All,
Did you know next Friday is a leap-year day (29th Feb) and as such most of you will be working for free!! Yes, its true... Check out Freeday Friday on google. Basically your wages are usually (check your contract) paid over a 365-day year, however with this year being 366, and the extra one a work day - it means a day working for nothing!! I'd strongly urge you all to harass and pursue the idea of either getting the day off or getting paid...many companies across the UK and Ireland have already bowed to the pressure and done one of the above - even a few banks have waived interest payment on mortgages for that 1 day!

I'll just come in the office and mess aorund on here all day.
Actually, I'll get drunk as a skunk tomorrow night and - voila! Friday will be wasted to a hangover without ruining the weekend. |
