Your sentence is right, but if you say: es loca... I think she's insane, but if you say: está loca, that means she's crazy about life or whatever. I don't know if I'm clear.
EDIT: I'm referring to the sentence: "Mi hermana es Sandy. Ella es muy loca. Pero es muy divertida. Ella siempre tiene hambre...como yo ahora!"

Really, it is! English has too many rules, and then exceptions to those rules, and then more rules for those exceptions. It's weird, but I think learning Spanish Grammar helped me a lot with my English Grammar somehow.
That's funny, because one of the first things that english teachers tell you at school is : "In English there are no rules" :-D
man, mine didn't tell me that!! |

Speaking of goodies that you can't get everywhere....my friend just got back from Australia and she brought me these cookies called Tim-Tams. Anyone heard of them or tried them? They are soooo delicious. I'm rationing them.
Edit: sorry about the largeness of the picture...no idea how to resize |

Aw wow!!! TIM TAMS!! Fantastic. Love em. Used to eat them all the time when I lived in New Zealand. If you bite a little bit of both ends then dunk em in your mug, you can slurp your tea/coffee though the biscuit. Sounds disgusting but it's YUMMY!!! |

Oooh you've got me thinking about my favourite biscuits now (sorry - cookies!!)
Think you can only get these in NZ, maybe Australia too. I'd kill for a Squiggle right now!
