Yeah, I listened to Love Is Not A Competition (But I'm Winning) and I was like... hmmm okay then. I really do like the track Ruby.
Yeah, I like Ruby, that's why I bought the album. It's been so overplayed though. |

My wife actually has a few ALBUMS from when she was a wee girl....
A Very Brady Christmas (by the Brady Bunch)
Shaun Cassidy's first album
but my pick for the worst has to be her album on how to do the disco dance The Hot Chocolate.
That or her Bay City Rollers album

When my daughter was 2 1/2 it was her favourite song EVER! This was a child who also liked the Cranberries and Robbie Williams and Travis |

I've got this album!
I bought it when I was 14 because it was for sale with a 70% discount at the music store and I used to like the video of a song in the album. And the album is still there, somewhere... I keep it because I need it when I have to answer to these polls.

Well for me it's...
It's Twee, Insipid and Bland, a hugely disappointing album after The Man Who... and the masterpiece that was Good Feeling, It doesn't run particularly well as an album either, 12 Memories wasn't great either although The Boy with No Name has improved and moved back to a more rocky style of Travis, which made me sit up and take notice of them originally.
other close runners were...
The most massively over "hyped" piece of egotistical work that I've ever heard.
Apart from Cannonball another piece of self indulgent pretentious bullshit.

Snow Patrol - Final Straw : The songs on this one are not nearly as catchy as 'Run'... they've got too much going on, and I get a severe headache every time(2 times to date) I listen to 'Chocolate'.
Sondre Lerche - Two Way Monologue : The lyrics are really strange :s Not enough to truly hate an album, but it's on my list... |

Dubz, how can you put Grace into your worst albums of all time? It's fricking amazing. Even just for the cover of Hallelujah. thats just him and his guitar, and it's absolutely heartbraking. Plus Dream Brother, Grace and Last Goodbye to start with. the guitar work and the vocals are both op quality.
Can't agree with the Invisible Band either, I think it works really well as a partner piece to The Man Who. Some of my favourite songs are on there - Sing, Side, The Cage, Pipe Dreams, and obviously Flowers in the Window.
Anyway worst album I own is Hootie and the Blowfish, fairweather Johnson. My god, it's terrible. |

Not worst of all time, just the worst in my collection. I've always prefered Cohen's original or John Cale's version, and for singer songwriter I think Cohen, John Martyn, Richard Thompson, Dick Gaughan etc all blow him away.
and again with The Invisible Band, you've probably mentioned the songs that I'd pick that actually ruin it for me, Sing, says it all, it's all too sing along-a-Travis for me. However some people like that sorta stuff, I prefer o listen than to join in.
That said this is indeed only my opinion and certainly with Grace I'm deffo in the minority, but each to his own I suppose
