hehe, I was in Cardiff for one day in 2002. And there was not a single soul on the streets. Spooky, we thought, until we realised that there was a football game going on. ;) |

It's usually buzzing when there's a match on. But the Welshies prefer their rugby! |

Lancaster, where I am for Uni, is a nice enough place.
And the area where I live at home, Thornton-Cleveleys, is great. But just a mile further down the road is the dump that is Blackpool, lol. In all fairness I like it for it's novelty, and it's decent enough for shopping...but half of it needs knocking down to be honest. :p |

yeah I think it was an Arsenal-Liverpool match - so maybe people were just waiting for the "foreign" fans to leave the city ;)
I swear, there was no one on the streets. We went to the Castle and back and met no one, until we came back to the station and found ourselves in the midst of a massive Arsenal-fan crowd. Scary day ;) |

Well this is where I'm from, Heggedal:
In one word, boring! It's nothing to do there exept drugs.
And this is where I live now, Oslo:(The buildings in the bottom half of the pic is my university)
I'm loving it! Although it could have been a bit less expensive living here ;) |

Yeah, that's never fun. They always descend on us and drop tonnes of litter. Grr! Did you like the castle? The view from the mound is pretty impressive. The bay is the most aesthetically pleasing area. |

Yepp, I liked it. We didn't have much time (busy busy travellers ;) ) but I liked what I saw :)
(The trip back to Bath - where we were staying - was strange, though - we were asked by Arsenal fans if we would share our chocolate-chip-cake with them. Which we did, though more out of fear than anything else ;) ) |

Ahh...well, it's the truth :( I feel so sorry for the young people living there with no hope of a future. It's the sort of place you don't want your kids to grow up in and not a place to live your entire life. The nature is great there and everything, but it's isn't even a decent pub there or anything for the kids. It's sort of stuck between two cities and in the outskirts of a suburban area... |
