Look around, leaves are brown, there's a patch of snow on the ground. (Actually a bit more than a patch.)

It's quite chilly here, but most notabale is the dark repressive cloud that's been hanging over campus for about a week. Why does it always rain on Lancaster? I'm starting to think it's always been this way. The idea that the sky is blue is just a conspiracy, right?

Well, it has warmed up to a balmy 26ºF here in the Motor City. I have been boiling water on the stove to get some moisture into the air so our hair doesn't stand on end when we walk across the carpet. I feel like singing the Cold Miser song.
