I just rented the German film "Downfall" about Hitler's last days from the point of view of his secretary...a young German girl who kind of got caught up in the whole Nazi thing and didn't even realize how bad it was. Apparently, the girl who plays the secretary looks just like me. At least that's what my dad, brother and boyfriend said.

:( poor lil Aidan. Have both of your kids already had chicken pox? I remember that not being fun at all...although I guess it's not as bad as poor Mike (my boyfriend). He caught Malaria while living in Zombia when he was a little boy. :/ |

There is a vaccine now. Aidan still got them when he was 3 (a few months after he got the shot) but it was a much milder case. It was still horrible though. Catherine was 8 weeks old and it was the week before my best friend got married.

Ooooh..I had no clue there was a vaccine now. I have a vivid image of all the neighborhood kids calling for me through the kitchen window to come out and play and I was crying and told them I couldn't cuz I had chicken pox.
