| Don't think I haven't! My daughter has just started to watch YouTube and MTV, and her walls are covered with pictures of Rihanna, Fergie, etc. It's frightening, really. Yesterday she said to me that Ugly Betty is not really that ugly, but if Americans think Betty's ugly, then they most likely would think she's ugly, too. |

Is the same for my best friend's sister.
She's 12 and she's just... You know... A regolar girl. But she thinks she's ugly and all that stuff.
Yesterday I was hugging her and she told me that she's ugly with any hairstyle.
Bullshit.
She's gorgeous for me.
She's like my little sister and I love her and I hate when someone makes her feel bad.

| Dove has some really good little spots. That just makes me want to move to an island with my daughter and forget society. I just am determined to be a stronger influence on her than the media. Which means limiting what I can and talking about what I can't. |
