I listened to it for the first time in months today, and it's soooooooooo good! Why has it sat on my shelf for ages? It's such a good album for invoking different emotions and memories.

Ah, this happened with me and the 12 memories album. Used to be my least favourite until their last gig I went to. Then I rediscovered it and realised that most of my fave songs (at the moment)are on that album.

I think 'The man who' is almost perfect! :)
If I listen to it, it always reminds me of some starry nights... Sorry I'm so romantic.

I like the way the songs aren't perfect and the tracklist is a bit strange (with the two slow tracks at the beginning), and how there are some brilliant songs and some fairly bad songs (in my humble opinion) but the whole thing just works. It flows so well and sums up almost any emotion - sad (Luv), hopeless (WDIAROM), hopeful (Turn, WTRY), nostalgic (Slideshow), and angry (Blue Flashing Light). Definitely a classic.

It's the album of a lifetime, simply. Everything is set up perfectly in this record, from Fran's voice to guitars, to the bass guitars, to the drums. Whener I listen to SLIDE SHOW and THE FEAR, a shiver flows down my spine

simple chords + good melody.. thats what the good song is.
And they can write sad songs on major chords. It's fantastic..
