I was walking down to play football after work tonight. SOme guy had his car window down, with the music cranked up. Normally that'll be to showcase some shit 'bangin tune' that i don't want to hear....

.... but this time I was totally surprised to hear "Nothing Ever Lasts Forever" by Echo and the Bunnymen. I hadn't heard it for years. Cheered me up no end

Also recently heard "Guiding Star" by Cast and "Only the Strongest will Survive" by Hurricane #1 (Prizes if anyone else remembers that song....)

So what tunes haven't you heard for ages that brought a smile to your face recently?

(P.S. old boardies does this constitute an acceptable topic or just more shit forum spamming? ;o)

I have the three albums I want, the best being Hup!, but would recommend their greatest hits... If The Beatles had Read Hunter.
