Yep and I think it's somewhat responsible for the disappearance of a lot of names here, myself included.
Gave the new board a shot and it's ok but doesn't have the atmosphere of the old board if that makes sense. Or that's the closest I can come to explaining anyway |

I was about to say that the old old board wasn't all that good cos it was too easy to impersonate people. I had someone hating me for a day or two before I worked out that someone had insulted her in my name. Anyhow, I also had to type my name every single time I posted cos I was in the computer lab at uni *sigh*
The new board has some advantages compared to the old board; it doesn't take time to click through all replies and we can have avatars.
However, on the old board you could reply to a specific post. On this one, you can only quote.

Aww! I miss this!
I think however the new board seems fun, lovely and more alive it still feels like it is somewhere else. Like Undroo says, the atmospher is missing I guess. Or it is just completely a new atmosphere. Not that I don't like here, but I miss the old originaltype-thread board. ;-)
I found this while I was tidying my desktop. Where I made a HUGE in your face to Andy! HAHA
