Americans always make fun of "Rose-Anne" as "Roseanne Barr".
actullay my mum wanted to call me Emmanuelle or Magali and for some reason picked Frederique |

I'm Edith :) Not very common in Norway, mostly the Edith's around here are oldish women, say over 80 yrs :P
More of an UK/US name I think? Or France maybe.. Bleh, I like my name, that's what counts right? |

I wouldn't have even thought to make some Roseanne Barr joke. Those are some stooopid Americans. |

I would think of it as an American or British name, and yes for someone older. But it's nice and as long as you like it, that's all that matters. |
