| Hi there people! almost a month ago, I drove out to norway for the trollrock and saw Travis live for the first time. We got there so early, that se even caught almost the whole soundcheck (wich was about 12 hours before their set). And as me and my friend stood there frozen with our idols in sight past the fence, they played this song that makes me very curious. I've never ever heard it before but I figured maybe it's something they do every soundcheck, cause it was not really a complete song. It started of with Andy playing a riff that just went on and on, sounding almost like a synth. Then he made chords of it and played that with some overdrive and it was a great melody.Neil joine in on drums anf Dougie played his bass and did the singing. In the chorus he did some long "screamings" (kinda like the backup vocals in something anything, sounded brilliant). Fran didn't participate as he was struggling with some computering stuff. Now I wonder is this something you lot have heard for years or was it perhaps a glimpse of what is coming? Cause if it was then I'm looking forward thrice as much to the new album! ;) |

Ooohh, top marks. Yes it is indeed a new song. It was written by Dougie and is called Moving. It's right here on my computer and I'm going to listen to it... now. Oooooohh it's sooooo goooooood... but yer going to have to wait. Haha! Very nice to be listening to new stuff after the big vacation.
Heading to Norway as it happens in October to record Alb 8.

Hi Boardies! I haven't been here in forever! But a little birdy* told me Fran posted on the board! Can't wait to hear this new song! And the whole album for that matter!! Almost time to geek out, people!!!!! I'm so ready for new Travis. Ahhhh. :)
