The song is called Surfin' USA. You won't have any trouble finding the lyrics to that song on the internet ;)

I know this song but the thing is that Fran was improvising and almost nothing remained from original lyrics apart from 'surfing' I guess) this is what I kind of understood:

1 well, everybody's gonna surfing da-na-na-na
2 Nigel's in the control room with his big pal Gerard
3 he comes from France with his (quite some....?)
4 everybody's gonna have some when he comes (undone?)
5 round-round-round-round, (quite some ...?) x2
6 wow-wow-round-round, big baguette
7 round-round-round-round, Eifel Tower!
8 round-round-round-round, lovely wine
9 inside-outside, mustard. (...?) surfing with Gerard
10 Nigel is our producer and he's done a few (stakes?)
11 (to name .....?)
12 but they all are rubbish but he knows what is good
13 as the buddy's working (......?)
14 we're called Travis and we're f#cking great
15 here comes Big Glasgow and our all good mates
16 we are on the same place as we were last week
17 Dougie sees (...?) Travis, we're bunch of freaks
------
18 well, we record in (Mayfare?) and it's a (Primrose?) hell
19 that's (rather...their bodies?), (feel?) the great (plague?)
20 let's call (all their bodies?)and (fall...rooms?)
21 so let's go to (Mayfare?) and ...
22 inside-outside, (...studios?)
23 inside-outside, (Bistro Bastow?)
24 inside-outside, we cough here in the corner
25 inside-outside, (chappie, it's just?) in the street
26 inside-outside, get your books in the library
27 inside-outside, if wanna go and get some cash (in Israel?)
28 (David, switch......station?) in USA

I would be really, really greatful if someone would correct and add missing lyrics! Thanks in advance and cheers! x

16. They all wear the same clothes as they wore last week
17. So if you see them, shout "Travis, you're a bunch of freaks!"

19. That's where they buried them bodies from the Great Plague
20. And it's cool??? that dead bodies are full of worms

I have never heard of a butty as a sandwich, so I automatically thought of buttered butts during the Great Plague, so "tasty" didn't enter my mind at all.

I think there is some kind of glitch that people who joined within the last year or so automatically become Dypebooggep no matter what username they chose.

Hey, fun fact. Long Way Down came on the other day while I was jogging, and I remembered one of your first ever posts (or the first time i remember you) was a misheard lyric in that song. Aww, nerd.
