I thought it would be a nice idea to start a tab request page for any Travis songs that aren't already tabbed.
For people like me, who love tabs or chords, it is a shame to have a song by the best band ever and not be able to play it. One of the more popular places for tabs is http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/
Guitar AND bass (and anything else you can think of) requests can go here :)
I'll start: I would REALLY love Ballad of J Smith tabbed. Not Ode to J. Smith, but the B-Side on Song To Self.
I guess if the songs requested are TOO obscure you can always PM the poster, who can send you the song, which would accomplish two goals at once! Because EVERYONE should have enough Travis as possible.

Here are some chords for Rocking Chair.I am only a beginner on guitar but I thought these chords sounded right:
Intro:
Am(002210) B#m(004430) x3
C(032010) C/D(054030)
(just sliding up Am and C 2 frets)
And the part before the last verse is:Am Em F C D.
This is just a naive guess of mine.Can someone try and improve this?
(Oh and I think Fran uses capo on 3rd fret) |

| Thanks! The chords sound good when you play them without the song, but I think the song uses slightly different chords, but who am I to say! It captures the general feel of the song, so I'm happy. |

I haven't gotten a chance to play it, to see if it sounds right (I need new strings at the moment) but I just found this and thought you might want it.
Keep the requests coming you guys! (And the Ballad to J Smith tabs would be nice lol)
