Swede Boy, those were a lot of great suggestions. As I said above, part of the problem is finding choral arrangements for some of these acts. Some of them might have more of a chance of being in the show as small group numbers.

I'll definitely let y'all know who we end up picking (in August) for the group numbers.

I'm trying to find some Patsy Cline stuff. Bet I can at least find Crazy. Which is a double legend: her plus Willie.

edit: I found I Fall to Pieces, Crazy, and Walkin' After Midnight. The downside is they are all girl numbers. We do one girl number and one guy number but there are a lot of strong girl numbers so who knows. Maybe someone will do it as a small group thing.

I thought I would share what group numbers the board selected. Keep in mind this is no way the top legends ever in our mind. Some of these are...er, liberal interpretations of the title. But we are trying to create a varied show that draws from different eras, styles, tempos. There will be some small group numbers added and so there will be more legends represented.

Hallelujah - Leonard Cohen
Teach Your Children - Crosby, Stills and Nash

(these two are what we call stand and sings because we just stand in a traditional choral formation and sing. The CSN song is a really gorgeous accapella arrangement of the song. I like it better than the original.)

girl's number:
Livin' on a Prayer - Bon Jovi

guy's number:
I Get Around - Beach Boys

the rest:
Little Less Conversation - Elvis
Vogue - Madonna
Proud Mary - Tina Turner
House is Rockin' - Stevie Ray Vaughan
Knock on Wood - Otis Redding
Signed Sealed Delivered - Stevie Wonder
Listen to the Music - Doobie Brothers
Got to Get You into My Life - Beatles
Fly Me to the Moon - Frank Sinatra
Can't Always Get What You Want - Rolling Stones
