This morning I came across this guys stuff. They are called Cinemagraphs - pretty much gifs. But I think they are so beautiful and bring the photo completely to life :)

this is my all-time-favourite photograph. I don't even know why, but I saw it in an exhibition ~10 years ago and could never quite forget it :)
