I think 'favourites' on this album are down to personal choice and nothing to do with the 'quality' of the song etc.

Surely that's the case with any song, ever. :)

And it won't be played everywhere, let's be real. As great as the album is, it isn't going to be a big seller.

You surprise me with those comments ..

nope I disagree , firstly some songs , in fact many are plain crap!! Which is my point in that whether
you choose to listen to them doesn't take away from their mastery eg; I hated 'queen' bohemiam rhapsody but I would never say it was crap, I know it isn't.

Frans new album lends itself to many outlets eg; bars, many still play old stuff, beauty salons, haidressers- I remenber I had to ask my hairdresser to stop playing Keane , it was really getting me down! I think it is an album that is so atmospherical that you can think, yes , that's the right mood , even background I want to achieve , even if yout not 'in to' the songs/artist
or lyrics .

get my drift ?

I think this album will achieve this over a long period

- have you seen the cd charts? I cringe at what's in there , its almost an embarassment to be in there at the moment anyway !!
