I've been dreaming of going to some cool music festival for a couple of years now. There's Heineken Open'er in Poland and there's always a lot of fuss about it. Last year the line-up was really good and I was really gutted I didn't make it there but this years is just meh. As I've spent the last year in Denmark I was also considering Roskilde but it's really expensive and it's not that awesome this year as well. But lately I discovered Way Out West in Sweden and I'm dying to go! I love every single act! It's going to be AMAZING. I'm really sad I found out so late :(.
Anyway, have you ever attended a music festival? What are your experiences? |

| OK besides the filthy unwashed you'll get people with picnic blankets setting up and try and push you aside even though you got there earlier and don't mind sitting on the grass |

I went to three festivals in my life, I think. And they're probably very different to European festivals.
I had a great time but I still prefer to see separate bands, because I don't always enjoy all the bands in the line up. But it's good fun. And those festivals you posted look great, Megg. :o) |

festivals to me means:
-rainy
-drunk people spilling all their beer over (poor) me.
-GOOD GOOD MUSIC! (of course).
-crowded
-expensive food
-more good music
-FUN... (I forgot XD)

| I've never been to a major festival. Would love to go to Glastonbury someday just to say I've been there :P There would have to be at least one band I was really into to go to it for the price of the ticket. |
