"A handful of raisins is like a bunch of smiles in your mouth."

I don't like that one either. After I get my advice column in the Oakland Press, my next job is going to be raisin box slogan writer.

Ugh that is awful.

Biting into a chocolate chip cookie and realizing those aren't chocolate chips but instead are raisins always ruins my day. I like raisins OK by themselves but when they masquerade as chocolate chips I really want to punch them in their squishy little faces.

Here is another saying:
Kids, when an adult says "nothing will change" they are lying.

But yeah, that seems a tad weird for a food that is most often consumed by children.

Some more suggestions:
Your pets will all die
No one likes their job all the time
Christmas becomes more and more depressing over time

I agree, that's bad! It also really makes me mad when raisins are put in cinnamon rolls. What a stupid way to ruin a perfectly yummy treat.

I agree. If someone makes them homemade and puts raisins in them I really question that person's judgement.

Totally. They're an interruption to the yum.

Oatmeal doesn't belong in a cookie either.
