| David Beckham had his achilles operated in Finland today (not in my city). It's as if there's nothing else going on in this country today, and now it looks like Posh is coming too. Sooo nice to have distraction from the big issues like the harbour strike, recession, masses of snow etc… :^P |

Sky News (not Sky Sports News) have talked about fuck all else since last night. It's good to see that Genocide, Murder, Rape, Earthquakes, and basically people dying all over the world, Can all take a back seat because some overpaid little wankbag hurt his leg.
Oh and btw this was the lead item on the RTE(Irish) sports news section. What the Fuck has an English player who has never played for an Irish team or even Celtic got to do with Irish sports news. Socce isn't even the first choice sport in Ireland
