Unfortunately, I've only got vfb Stuttgart -v- Barcelona on TV, I would have preferred Olympiakos -v- Bordeaux as I think it will be the better game. The Hotel dude on the Christina was from Bordeaux so I'll be shouting for them tonight.

I'll also be flicking over as Tipperary are playing The Cats (Kilkenny) in Hurling. Up Tipp!!

I've just dug out my old Paris Saint-Germain jersey to wear for the evening. It's the closest thing I have to a Bordeaux or France jersey.

Allez les Girondins !!!

ou Allez le club au scapulaire !!!

et Allez Les marine et blanc

Mon le Girondins !!!

Please don't wear a Paris Saint-Germain T-shirt - everybody hates them.
They aren't popular at all in Paris.

It's the uniform for the guys on the yacht... m/y Christina O

I agree about Zidane and Cantona but these midfielders would have been nothing without the defence that was... Laurent Blanc, Lilian Thuram, Bixente Lizarazu and Marcel Desailly these guys even made Fabien Barthez look amazing

(off topic: I still can't get over the fact that a French football player has my exact first name. It's so not right, French people! Lilian is a GIRL'S name. hrmph.)

But I'm a Lilian without the -e, and with stress on the first syllable ;P

I once worked with a couple of Romanian guys called Marian and Katrin, to make the names feminine you add an "a" at the end. Seemingly this is quite common in Romania
