-Miracle on 34th Street (the 1947 version, non-colorized for optimal charm)
-The Bishop's Wife (starring my ultimate celebrity crush Carey Grant)
-The Bells of St. Mary's (not exactly a Christmas movie, but close enough - Bing Crosby, what more could you want?)
-White Christmas (Irving Berlin's 1954 one)
-Holiday Inn (Bing Crosby AND Fred Astaire)
I'm also a huge fan of "It's a Wonderful Life" and "Elf." I think every film I've mentioned has brought me to tears - either out of pure heartfelt warm fuzzy charm or from laughing so hard that I cried.

Agreed with Love Actually. That movie is sooo moving and certain parts always bring me to tears. Elf is definately one of my faves "Hi this is Buddy whats your favorite color" along with Charlie Brown's Christmas (which I have not watched this year). I can't think of anymore right now but there are sooo many to name. |
