Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this, but in my opinion this World Cup is weird.

Nope, the standard of football so far has been pretty dire, however this evenings game with Cameroon and Denmark is really entertaining, however this may be the fact that the defending by both teams is well.... fucking woeful, but hey it makes for entertaining football.

Agreed. The quality of football is horrible and many of the nations are playing to avoid defeat rather than playing to win. too many teams are well organsised but have no flair players.

What about them ?

their manager made some good decisions today against a team that went to pieces. Put Portugal up against any of the bigger teams and they will be shot down in flames.

Plus Ronaldo is a fucking twat.

I still think it was one of the best performances so far in the world cup and the "big teams" haven't really performed(as usual?). Look at Italy, France, England and Spain. Brazil has won their games, but I don't think that their stars have showed anything, Kaka is even a bigger twat than Ronaldo. This is the world cup of surprises and from what I've seen so far I've really been impressed by Uruguay, Paraguay, Ghana and today Portugal.

I wonder if Germany can pull it together in their third game, they played really well in their first game, but then they were unable to do anything against Serbia.

I'd like to see Mexico & Uruguay go through this afternoon.

For me they are the only two teams in this group that have played well. Sorry Abs but France have conducted themselves with no honour during this World Cup, and I say that as a neutral and not because of the Henry hand incident in Ireland. I don't like to see this happen to any team and will not gloat although plenty others in Ireland and the UK are doing so.
