It is now showing the votes. From what I can tell, I'm 2nd in pic voting, so moving on to the next round!

Hurray!!!!! So glad you got to the next round. I hope the judges pick your picture because artistically speaking it is hands down for sure the best one.
I love that the apple orchard got viewed 50,000+ times but only 87 votes or whatever. Guess his spambot isn't a good voter. |

Yay! For those of us too lazy to read the fine print, what is the procedure for this thing? How many rounds, when is the final decision and all that good stuff? |

According to the rules, top 10 in each category (photo, essay and video) go on to the next round. Next round is judging. It's 3 criteria: public votes, originality/creativity and fitting the theme (or something along those line). 1 winner overall will be picked.
It says that will happen "on or about December 4th" and the winner announced at 3pm on December 15th! Which is 2 weeks today.
Oh and it says finalists will be identified on the website no later than tomorrow. I'm just assuming I'm in because of the votes, but I could be a big fat liar face. |
