Shit?

- They've sold 50 million records worldwide.
- Be Here Now became the fastest-selling album in UK chart history.
- Knebworth's Park shows are to this day the largest demand for a show in British history (250,000 people over two nights, 2.5 million people applied for tickets, and 375,000 were actually sold, meaning the possibility of 53 sold out nights).

...And I can keep going...

Me and their millions fans give a fuck.

I'm not really a fan anymore, but the news made me sad anyway (in a nostalgic way I guess) .

Gosh! I don't want sound like my cousin or anything but it's how maybe sometimes the life:death helps us - when I feel so much pain I wonder there is always someone worse. Peace and LOVE too. So they say goodbye, ok. So they come back, yay!

Nevertheless, I found the definition. To tell you the truth, I didn't even notice. "I" before "E" except after "C" or in sounding as "A" in "neighbor" and "weigh" or in "zeitgeist." It's a little wordy.

Now new reports claim Liam's boozing became an issue between brothers throughout their US tour this year and sparked the final fight in France after the frontman allegedly turned up to the gig drunk.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Liam has been drinking heavily for the duration of the tour and regularly got very abusive and personal. He has taunted Noel's girlfriend Sara, other band members, and the crew. People have been frightened to go near him. He is one very angry man who needs to sort his issues out."

if it's in the sun it must be true

you really didn't know the word? I thought you were being ironic. Sorry. I'm confused. I obviously know it because it's a German word ;)

Err, it's "der Zeitgeist" (with a nice German article ;D), and you "pronounce it exactly as you read it" ;P (I love saying that, especially to native speakers of French or English ;P) - if you know the alphabet in German ;)

It's one of my all-time favourite words :)

Yes, we can add it to my growing list of German things we don't have here:

1. Magnum ice cream bars (oh, how I long for one)
2. Rolladens
3. Quiet Sundays
4. Window boxes with cascading geraniums
4. Zeitgeist

So I'm slowly recovering from the shock I got when I heard the news. Still sad and shocked though..
