Abs I don't really know how to explain it. Nikki, Kristy, and I put 'pants' on the end of lots of things. One day I started calling Nikki hockeypants (just because she is such a huge fan) and she called me ladypants (because I am such a refined lady).
I don't recall much story beyond that. |

While I have recovered well from the surgery the post-surgery things the orthodontist has been working on haven't been going as well.
In the surgery they widened my top jaw as much as they could but they needed the orthodontist to widen it a bit more so my bite would finally be aligned. This is usually done with rubber bands but those ended up exerting so much pressure it pulled a muscle in my face. So then they made a palette expander which hasn't hurt hardly at all but isn't doing what it normally does in people - which is widen equally on both side. No, this is another way I am "special." My left side is overwidened (they can fix this though) and my right side is too narrow.
So to fix this....I have to have another small procedure. It's just an in-office 5 minute thing but I do have to be sedated because they have to do something pretty painful. I'll give details if you're curious but didn't want to assault people with goriness with no warning.
So next Friday I'll go and get this done. Pain will be similar to wisdom tooth extraction but it won't affect eating or anything like that.
I just want to be done with this people!! I'm still waiting to be pain free in my jaw which I am currently not since my bite is still off. |
